The Victorian Studio Camera

A selection of pictures taken with my Wratten & Wainwright studio camera. I acquired the camera some years ago in a sorry state and lovingly restored it to working order, including constructing an entire new back & ground glass focussing screen. It takes single negatives in 10"x12" format which are individually developed in trays in the darkroom. These are then copied digitally to enable any post-processing and printing to be easily performed. The camera is big & heavy and needs long exposures, so can only be used for fairly static subjects.
